Who we are

This website is operated by Track Metrics Ltd, trading as MyPrintStreet (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

What this notice covers

This notice covers this website. If you have a MyPrintStreet account, the personal data involved in running your shop, including your account details, the orders you receive and the artwork your customers submit, is covered by the privacy information provided inside the app.

What we collect, and why

When you browse

The site is served through a content delivery network, which records technical information such as your IP address, the pages requested, and your browser and device type. These logs exist to deliver the site securely and to investigate faults and abuse. We do not use them to build a profile of you.

When you contact us

If you complete the demo form we collect your name, email address, and optionally your store or company, where you sell, and whatever you write in the message field. We use it only to reply to you and to arrange the demo you asked for.

We do not add enquirers to a marketing list. If we ever want to send you marketing, we will ask you separately and you can refuse without affecting your enquiry.

Our lawful bases

• Legitimate interests — responding to an enquiry you sent us, and keeping the website secure and working. We have considered your interests and rights, and responding to a message you chose to send is what you would reasonably expect.
• Consent — for any non-essential cookies or analytics, which stay off until you accept them, and which you can withdraw at any time.
• Contract — where you hold an account with us, to provide the service you have signed up for.

Cookies and similar technologies

When you answer the cookie banner we store your choice in your browser's local storage under the key mps-consent. That single item is strictly necessary, because without it we would have to ask you on every page. It contains only your answer, and it is not shared with anyone.

Analytics. If you accept, we load Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies in your browser and tells us how the site is used: pages viewed, how far down a page people read, and which buttons are clicked. We use it to work out which parts of the site are useful, not to identify you, and we have it configured to shorten your IP address.

If you decline, or simply never answer, the Google script is not loaded at all and none of those cookies are set. We do not use advertising or re-targeting cookies either way.

To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will ask again.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with providers who process it on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions:

• Our hosting and content delivery provider (Amazon Web Services, hosted in the EU) — serves this website and holds the technical logs described above.
• Our form provider (Formspree) — receives what you submit through the demo form and delivers it to our support inbox.
• Our email provider — holds the resulting message so we can reply.
• Google (Google Analytics) — only if you accept analytics cookies. Google processes the usage data described above on our behalf.

If you hold an account, order details necessary to make and ship an item are shared with the fulfilment partner producing it. Our partners are listed on the fulfilment partners page.

We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.

Transfers outside the UK

Some of the providers and fulfilment partners above are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards permitted by data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for details of the safeguards that apply.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and the correspondence that follows them for two years from our last contact with you, then delete them. If you become a customer in that time, your records are kept under the account terms instead.

Technical logs from our hosting and content delivery provider are held briefly for security and troubleshooting, and are overwritten in the ordinary course. Account and order records are kept for as long as the account is open, and afterwards for the period tax and accounting law requires.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• have inaccurate data corrected
• ask us to delete data, in certain circumstances
• ask us to restrict how we use it, in certain circumstances
• object to processing that we carry out on the basis of legitimate interests
• receive data you gave us in a portable format, where processing is based on consent or a contract
• withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent

To exercise any of these, email support@myprintstreet.com. We will respond within one month. There is no charge in normal circumstances.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use personal data we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where the change is significant we will draw attention to it rather than rely on you noticing.
